That's what they ask us every year in October when we show up in New Iberia. (We ignore the competitor's sarcasm, we'll ignore yours, too.)
This is the fourteenth year of the Cookoff and our seventh year to compete. From our humble beginnings around a collapsible four-top to our current stature as top-rate recipe thieves, we've not only endured, but managed bon temps around our gumbo pot every fall.
